Robinson les Bains starts its adventure with Sodilog as of Summer 2017 for its whole product range and e-shop.

                 

Founded in 2007 on an insight by Christophe Vérot, Robinson Les Bains is specialized in beachwear, mixing elegance and fashion. Robinson Les Bains is the only swimsuit brand offering a complete line of swimwear, from mini briefs to long boardshorts.

Daniel Defoe’s hero Robinson Crusoe and the implication in terms of self-affirmation and self-esteem inspired the brand name. It suggests the idea of isolated beaches and adventure. “Les Bains” evokes the glorious times of the old-fashioned Spa Resorts and the French way of life.

The first collection is inspired by the university sport team’s uniforms worn by American students in the 50’s and 60’s. After their graduation, these young men decide to discover the world and enjoy life. Each year the Robinson les Bains man will discover a new destination that will inspire the theme for the coming season. Styles have been designed with comfort in mind and an accent on details. Tartan, revisited vintage lines on sporty forms create a classic and chic result. High-quality fabrics from Italy and France characterize Robinson Les Bains’ products. A new range of colours, patterns and prints are created every season to complete the permanent models.

The collection includes a wide variety of suits for anyone from the sun worshipper to the avid surfer. There are briefs, trunks and board shorts in unique colour ways and vintage inspired fabrics and patterns. After a successful launch, special attention has been given to the “after beach” line and to the accessories which complete Robinson Les Bains.

Today, Robinson les Bains, beachwear brand for men with a high-end positioning, is present in 20 countries through a very selective distribution network.

The first collection, launched in 2007, was available in multi-brands stores known for their unique quality selections such as Colette and Jeffrey. Only 800 units have been produced but the success exceeded Christophe’s expectations. In 2008, only 8 outlets offered the collection and then it was distributed in 16 others prestigious multi-brands stores in 2009.

Robinson les Bains produced 7.000 units in 2012 and 72 beachwear models, which have been distributed in 52 outlets. The family is still growing in 2013 with 30% more point of sale.

Since 2007 Robinson les Bains continues to assert itself to adopt a leader position on the swimwear upmarket for men.
